iStudio

iStudio for Facebook

iStudio is a social-media scheduler. It publishes a photo, multiple photos, or a video to a Facebook Page you manage — scheduled from one place alongside your other accounts — and can automatically reply to new comments on that Page with a template you write.

How it works

  1. Connect a Page. You click "Connect a Facebook Page" and authorize on Facebook. iStudio shows the Pages you manage so you can pick one; it never sees your password.
  2. Compose a post. Add a photo (or up to 10), or one video, and write a caption.
  3. Publish. iStudio posts it to the Page you chose — now, at a scheduled time, or in your posting queue.
  4. Auto-reply to comments (optional). On the connected Page, click 💬 Manage comments, grant the two extra permissions, switch auto-reply on and save a reply template. iStudio then replies to new top-level comments on that Page's posts. It is off by default and you turn it on per Page.
  5. Manage it. The post appears on your Facebook Page. Disconnect the Page any time; iStudio removes its stored access and unsubscribes the Page.

Permissions iStudio requests

iStudio requests only the permissions it needs, and nothing more:

📜

Access the Pages you manage pages_show_list

Lists the Facebook Pages you manage so you can choose which one to connect. Nothing is posted with it.

👤

Read a Page's basic info pages_read_engagement

Reads the connected Page's name and picture so iStudio can show which Page you linked.

📝

Publish to your Page pages_manage_posts

Publishes the post you compose to the Page you chose. iStudio only publishes posts you create yourself.

The next three are requested only when you turn on comment auto-reply, from a separate prompt inside the app. If you never enable it, iStudio never asks for them.

💬

Reply to comments on your Page pages_manage_engagement

Posts your saved reply template as a reply to a new comment. iStudio does not edit, hide, like or delete comments.

📡

Receive new-comment notifications pages_manage_metadata

Subscribes the Page to the feed webhook so Facebook tells iStudio when a new comment arrives. It changes no other Page setting, and is undone when you turn auto-reply off or disconnect.

👁

Read the comment being replied to pages_read_user_content

Reads the incoming comment so iStudio can check it is a genuine top-level comment before replying. No other content on the Page is read or stored.

What iStudio does not do

Your data

iStudio stores the access token for the account you connect (encrypted) so it can publish on your behalf, and removes it when you disconnect. See our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Data Deletion pages.
